The solution to solve inner conflicts is actually very simple: Think positive!
NO, don´t leave, yet! There is more to that than you think!
It is a simple truth that your thoughts determine your life. If you think of yourself as a lucky man who can not fail and is always winning in life no matter the circumstances, you will be happier than someone in the exact same situation who is always worrying about the next problem that will occur.
There is nothing in this world that is entirely good or entirely bad. Every situation has positive and negative aspects. Without negativity you wouldn´t know what positivity means. You need both in your life to solve your inner conflicts.
If you want to go anywhere in life, you can´t just think about the negative aspects all day. Sure, you COULD travel to Paris, explore an incredible city and make a lot of great memories. But traveling is dangerous, your passport could get stolen, your plane could crash or you could eat something to upset your stomach.
You need to build some positive energy around yourself. And the easiest way to do that is to change the way you think and change the people you surround yourself with. Every negative aspect of your life is an opportunity.
Maybe you are suffering from brutal back pain. There is nothing positive about that, right? Wrong! If your body is hurting, it is telling you that you need to change something. Start exercising and practice right posture, and you have just turned a negative situation around. The pain was an opportunity to start a sport that excites you and therefore made your life better.
Maybe you have lost your job. Can you find anything positive about that situation? Correct, it is an opportunity to learn new skills or even become an entrepreneur! You now have the chance to make even more money than at your old job and meet new people you enjoy working with.
Focus on the solution to your problem rather than the problem itself. I promise you, you can find positive aspects in EVERY situation of your life! You just have to start looking for them, sometimes for a longer time than just a few days.
I once read an article about a young woman who lost her legs in an accident. She ended up winning the Paralympics without ever showing interest in snowboarding before the accident. If she can do that, you can do something similar as well!
A friend of mine died due to cardiac arrest when she was only 18. The funeral – the first funeral I attended in my whole life – was the most heartbreaking thing I ever attended. But it also led to me changing my life. This blog would not exist if my friend was still alive. My life goals would not exist if she had not died. Death is terrible but it is also the only reason to achieve anything in life. This is a lesson I will never forget.
Of course, this lesson didn´t come to me on its own. I learned this through intense reflection of the situation and through trying very hard to find positive aspects. My life has changed for the better because of it.
Repeat this sentence a few times: “I am a lucky man because every problem I face is an opportunity to find happiness.”
Write it down and read it twice a day. Repeat it until you believe it. There is no problem that can not be solved.
Inner conflicts appear when you face problems you think you can not solve. Maybe you have a pessimistic personality and you want to avoid loss at all costs. But you are not stuck with those character traits!
Life is not planned out for you. Your decisions and your thoughts influence your path. You can become whoever you want to be by following this simple formula:
change your thoughts
change your habits
You can not always influence your circumstances. But you can influence how those circumstances are perceived – as problems or as opportunities.
Stay strong, fellow superhero!
